Hi.
This is Leo. I have some great ideas for posts! This week I interviewed a WEATHERMAN! Stay tuned! I’m also going to be reviewing a book with my mom. ANd I have plans for some of my art- can’t wait to tell you all about it. STAY TUNED!!!
Follow My Little Poppies’s board Leo’s Lounge at My Little Poppies on Pinterest.
But first, did you know I’m an artist? I’m going to show you my art because I don’t think I’ve done that yet and we just took pictures of some of it because I have another top-secret art thing planned for you!
Here is my art:

Bear Clinging to Tree. He’s hunting for berries. I won second place for this painting when I was five.

This is a moose. I got the idea from a postcard. I made this when I was five.

Hot Sun. I did this one using warm colors.

Reflection. I did this one when I was five but this year I entered it in an art show and I won Best in Show for K-12 grade!!!

Glitter Bird. This was from when I was five too. I was trying to use glitter to see how it worked with paint.

Shadow of a Seahorse. I did this one for the PTA Reflection program too.

My Little Poppies. You guys know this one. I painted this for my mom over the summer for this blog!!!
I hope you liked my art. I have more of it but these are the ones we took pictures of this week. If you need a place to store your art, check out my blog post on art portfolios!!
Thanks for reading this post. Stay tuned for my big plans!! Stay warm!!
Leo

Wow, Leo! This is all really impressive! You paint extremely well - I particularly love your monkeys and how your pine/spruce trees came out. I’m fairly certain I couldn’t create half as well, no matter how hard I tried! I think I’ll probably stick to my fiber arts. Out of curiosity, how long did these pieces take you to make? You do incredible work, and I look forward to seeing what else you have coming!
Hi Care. Thanks for the comment. It took me about an hour to paint the paintings. I like your name. Love, Leo
Dear Leo, I loved looking at all of your art work. You are so talented. Every picture was wonderful and I loved the colors you used. You are a very talented artist indeed. Can’t wait to see more of your work.
Nana! I have a store for my art coming soon, maybe even today. Stay tuned. Love you!
Great paintings! I love your use of color to create texture. I’m going to borrow some of these ideas for projects with my 6 year old. I’m not particularly artistic, so I need all the extra help I can get. 🙂
Hi Allison. Thanks for the comment. I have art class videos coming soon and that will be good for you and your kid. Stay tuned! Leo
Leo, I absolutely love your use of color. They remind me of the same feeling I get when looking at Monet’s work or other impressionist artists. I see a bit of Van Gogh too. Your art makes me smile and feel good when I look at it.
My son is 7 (tomorrow) and his drawing style is similar to comic books or storyboards they use for animation. I need to post some of them on our unschooling page soon.
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you!
