The Homeschool Sisters Podcast

Hi there, sister!

Cait and Kara are two homeschooling moms doing this homeschooling thing out right beside you. On this podcast, we talk about real life homeschooling, books, caffeine addiction and surviving and thriving through these wonderful years.

We don’t have it all figured out, but one thing we know for sure is that homeschooling is a lot easier when you have a sister by your side.

So grab a cup of coffee or tea and let’s hang out … Do people still say that?

Will you join us?

Meet your sisters

Cait is a school psychologist, mom to three amazing children, and an unexpected homeschooler. She loves nature, good books, board games, strong coffee, and dancing in her kitchen. She writes about the journey at My Little Poppies. Cait is a contributing writer at Simple Homeschool and GeekMom, and her work has been featured on The Huffington Post, The Mighty, and Scary Mommy. She is the founder of Granite State Gifted, a support group for families of gifted children in the NH and MA area, and co-founder of Raising Poppies, an online Facebook community for parents of gifted and twice-exceptional children. You can find her on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and G+.

Kara never imagined herself homeschooling back in her days as a newspaper woman, but then, she’s always been a bit unconventional about education, having started college at 16. She spent the extra years traveling a bit, learning photography and trying to figure out if writing was actually a job. It turns out it is, and so she works part-time from home while learning with two of her favorite people in the world. She blogs about it at Quill and Camera and is also a contributor at Simple Homeschool and iHomeschool Network. She’s the Podcast Manager for the Read-Aloud Revival, and works behind the scenes at a few other terrific sites. You can connect with her on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
