It’s hard to believe, but the holiday season is on the near horizon. This year, I’ve compiled gift guides featuring our family’s favorite homeschool resources, books, games, and materials.
I am one of those people who likes to finish holiday shopping sooner rather than later. This allows me time to truly enjoy Thanksgiving and to get in the holiday spirit. This year, I plan to set up a Christmas craft table in our dining room and make handmade ornaments to use as gifts. This will be fun for everyone, plus it will be wonderful to give handmade gifts to friends and family.

Gift Guides: Games
If you think about it, a game costs less than taking your family to the movies and the best part is that you can play the same game for years and create many memories together.
Gift Guides: *Educational* Stocking Stuffers
I want stockings to be fun for my children, but I also don’t want another plastic toy or stuffed animal. Here is a list of over 50 educational stocking stuffers, organized by subject. Is your child struggling with math right now? There’s a fun stocking stuffer that will help!
Gift Guides: Monthly Educational Subscriptions
Homeschool subscriptions are gifts that keeps on giving for the entire year. The following homeschool subscriptions have enriched our family learning, and I hope they will do the same for your homeschool!
Gift Guides: Books
Some days, I honestly can’t believe that I get to play games and read books all day. (Some kids never grow up!) So much learning occurs when children play! Carefully selected read alouds and educational games are the foundation of our homeschool. Today I am sharing 100 games and picture books, organized by subject. One of my favorite things to do in our homeschool is to read a fantastic book and then follow up with a related game or activity. Here are a few guides to some of our favorite gifts for the book lovers in your life!
Gift Guides: Homeschool
Here are a few guides to some of our favorite homeschool resources, both for children and for homeschooling moms and dads.
Gift Guides: Special Needs & Twice-Exceptional
As the parent of a twice-exceptional child, I think it is important to include some of the resources that have helped our kiddos.
