Hi.
This is Leo. Last week, I did a Groovy Lab in the Box on weather. I made a barometer, a rain gauge, and an anemometer. I also read a couple of books about weather. My dad has a friend who is named Dan and he is a meteorologist. I thought it would be cool to interview him. I was a little bit nervous about talking to him so I sent him an email and he said he’d be happy to answer my questions in an email too! I sent him questions and he had some great answers.
Here is our interview, I hope you like it. This is my Dad’s Friend, Dan:

This was my very first interview. I hope to do more interviews. I want to thank Dan Thomas for answering all my questions. I sure learned a lot!
Thanks for reading!
Leo
Great interview! You asked very interesting questions. I look forward to the next one!
Hi Rebecca. Thanks for the comment. I’m planning other interviews but I have a few projects I need to finish first. Stay tuned! Leo
Great interview! Yes, I have seen a couple of hole punched clouds, but not until recently. I never saw them as a child. Weird phenomenon.
Hi Julie. Thanks for your comment. I think the hole punch cloud is really cool. I want to see one someday. Leo
Hi from Sweden! What a great interview!
When I worked in Pakistan running a field hospital for the Red Cross floodwaters roughly covered an area the size of England. We thought the satellite pictures were wrong at first… The weather is really important; compared to flash floods, hurricanes and snow storms, humans are really small.
Thank you so much for writing, for sharing your work and thoughts!
Hi Sara!
Are you my Pinterest friend Sara? 🙂 Thanks for reading. He’s very excited that someone from Sweden read his interview! Your experience in Pakistan sounds incredible!
yes, it’s me! So glad to hear! I am very excited too that I have found you <3.
Pakistan was incredible. Very hard work. Very meaningful. Very much beyond what we think and may understand.
I bet! I can only imagine! Glad you found us, too!
