Hi.
This is Leo. I told you this week that I’m an artist, and I showed you how to make a portfolio to hold all of your artwork. Today, I’m starting three really cool new things! Are you ready?
The first cool thing is that I started a store on Zazzle to sell my art. I am donating the money that I make from this store to a charity called Books for Africa. (Books for Africa is a great charity for two reasons. First, I love books and I think all kids should have a lot of books to read. Second, I have a pen pal in Africa and I know that many children in Africa do not have books like we do.)
The second cool thing is that I added what I’m reading to the top of Leo’s Lounge! It’s next to my store. I’m going to do more book reviews. Let me know if you have questions about a book that I read.
The third cool thing is going to be so much fun! I am going to start doing drawing lessons for kids! And sometimes I’m going to have my sister and brother help me. We were excited today so we did a bunch but usually I won’t do this many. I’m going to space them out.
If you have ideas for what you want to see me draw tell me. If you do a drawing send me a photo so I can see how it came out. Here are the lessons we made today!

Lesson #2- A Monkey by T:
Lesson #3- A Dinosaur with a Funny Message by Leo:
Lesson #4- A Person with Goofy Hair by T:
Thanks for reading my post. Let me know what you think of all this cool stuff. I like it when you guys write messages!
Happy Drawing!!!

I love your work! Thanks for sharing your talents! 🙂
YOU ARE WELCOME! From, Leo
Too cute! I am working with my son to draw. I know he has the capability, but I think he got frustrated with the teachers telling him how to draw in such a way that it did not foster creativity. At school, he scribbles. At home, he drew a tree with fall leaves.
Thank you for sharing. My little guy LOVES dinosaurs. 🙂
Sounds like someone I know 😉 Leo is an amazing artist and yet, last year in public school, he got in the most trouble in art class. Go figure! 🙂
Very KEWL. Could you teach my kiddos how to draw an elephant?
He’s working on it, Kim! Actually, we had a snafu with the videographer (mom), who filmed the instruction sideways. Oops! Will try again later today maybe. Thank you for the suggestion 🙂
Great job! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for reading, Starla!
