Monday

After a way-too-busy winter and early spring, the kids and I decided to head north this week. We made a bucket list and it’s filled with all life’s most important and simple things. We did, however, pack owl pellets and praying mantis egg cases because that’s how we roll!

You know you are a homeschooler when… … you go on vacation and pack your praying mantis egg cases and owl pellets.?

Wednesday

It’s okay if your read aloud is taking forever… as long as you are enjoying it.

#coffeeandbooks We have been reading this book forever. Don’t get me wrong: we LOVE it. That’s just the issue, in fact. When life gets too crazy, the last thing I want to do is to rush through a chapter book just to say we finished it. Instead, I want it to be an experience. I want it to be fun. Don’t feel like a failure if your chapter book stalls, as long as you’re enjoying it you’re doing it right! ☕️??
