My Little Poppies Week in Review 7
Here’s what the poppies have been up to:
This week was a fun one. We’re finally catching up from a rough couple weeks. Also, because the year is coming to a close, our obligations are lightening, leaving more space for friends and family. The weather has been in our favor too!
Sunday
We had a wonderful Easter morning with mass and friends and a fantastic day with family!
Monday
The Easter Bunny gave the kids Extreme Dot-to-Dots and they are obsessed… and incredibly quiet! Easter Bunny for the win!
Tuesday
One thing I’ve learned is that my children, left to their own devices, are often far more creative than I am- even when I’m trying to be creative. This week, my kids finished their homeschooling early and, still hungover from Easter, went upstairs to read quietly for a little bit. Well, I thought they were reading but they were really plotting! They placed a half dozen letter boxes in our own backyard and sent me on an incredibly fun scavenger hunt. I want to do it again!
Wednesday
It can be tough to get 1:1 time with each of your children. This week, I had a couple of uninterrupted hours with our littlest guy and then we spent a gorgeous afternoon playing in the woods together.
Thursday
Thursday was an unbelievably gorgeous day and we took full advantage. We met up with friends for an art-themed hike. Our entire day was spent outdoors!
Friday
A birthday card with quill and ink!
There’s nothing quite like real-world math. This kid is a master at it- he loves to make math problems out of everything and anything!
