Surviving the February Slump: Tips and Tricks

The Homeschool Sisters chat about surviving the February Slump
Oh, February. It’s a short month, but for homeschoolers, it can feel like it drags for about 2 years. But don’t worry, mamas- Cait and Kara have you covered.
In this episode, the sisters talk about how February is basically like homeschool PMS, “the husband shuffle,” lazy unit studies, and a ton of fun resources including one that Cait terms “math dessert!” Plus, the gals spill the beans about their MASSIVE February giveaway.
So don’t worry, homeschool mamas- February is notoriously hard, but you’ve got this, sister!

This was my first February homeschooling. I didn’t survive it. Haha! Not only did we battle I’ll be as after illness, but I became pregnant and had to battle terrible morning sickness on top of it. February essentially became our ‘summer break’. I just could not get myself together! I was so sick to my stomach and so shocked that baby four was really there (lol!) so February was a wash. Hopefully next year is better!!
Please know you are not alone! And morning sickness is the worst. When I was pregnant with my third, I spent the entire winter on my couch in our playroom, reading aloud. It was the ONLY thing I could do. Whenever I stood up, I was so nauseous. This too shall pass and do whatever you need to do to survive right now. Sending warm thoughts!
