Summer is supposed to be relaxing, right? You have these big dreams of staying up late, watching for shooting stars and catching fireflies. You want to eat popsicles on the front porch and have cannonball contests all afternoon. There’s a big stack of summer reading calling your name and you’d love to curl up in a hammock and get to work.
But.
Sometimes, summer isn’t easy.
The relaxed atmosphere and lack of routine can result in tantrums and meltdowns and unwanted stress.
Trust me, I understand. I have a kiddo who struggles with summer:
