I always say that I get my best ideas from my readers and it true. This month, the {Virtual} Family Book Club at My Little Poppies will be enjoying a Bill Peet Author Study.
This author study was suggested by current book clubbers and I thought it was a fantastic idea. Bill Peet’s books are fantastic! They have been loved by children for decades. My children love Peet’s charming animal characters, and I appreciate Peet’s focus on fun, friendship, and kindness.

Bill Peet Author Study

In addition to writing and illustrating children’s books, Peet worked at Walt Disney for over twenty-five years as a sketch artist and illustrator. Peet’s books have been adored for decades. His books are funny, and they highlight the importance of friendship and kindness.

So excited to see this! We haven’t read most of his books,but adore The Whingdingdilly. Is the book club separate from your other emails- do we need to sign up or join somewhere on Facebook?

Good for you! As for sharing, I write a post each month (like this one) and you can see it on this site toward the end of each month. I often reference it on IG, if you are on there. I can try to do that more if there is interest.
We love The Wump World and Kermit the Hermit! Such sweet stories. We checked out every Bill Peet book our library had lol.
