Hi guys!
My name is Cait. I’m mom to three amazing little people (6-year-old Leo, 5-year-old T, and 3-year-old Seuss) and wife to the fantastic and oft-shiny-shoed Schizz. I am a school psychologist who had plans to stay at home with the kids until they were in school full time. Life likes to laugh at our plans, doesn’t she? Now, here I am: suddenly, unexpectedly, homeschooling and blogging about it. I promise to share the good, the bad, the ugly, and the funny as we adjust to this new normal.
If there is such a thing as reading too much (and I don’t believe there is), I have always done it. I am a bibliophile; I learned at an early age to always have a book with me for when a moment of boredom strikes. In this technological age, information sharing is easy. If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter or Pinterest, you can see some of what I read daily on topics of interest to me as a mother, educator, homeschooler, nature-lover, and health-nut. You’ll also see random snippets of our day, from funny quotes, to inventions, to kid art.
Other than that, I love books (the old-fashioned kind, with pages), strong coffee, Two Step, sushi, CrossFit, melty cheese, and Kenny Chesney. Sleep is for the weak; I’d rather be reading, or outside, or reading outside, preferably hidden away in some filthy little nook like I did when I was six.
I’m so glad you stopped by. Feel free to stay awhile.
Cait
