Today Schizz told me I should “slow down with the books”…
The pile of books I am reading. (Okay, there might be a few more in my car.) |
Schizz likes to read but he doesn’t consume them like I do. He doesn’t get that there is no slowing down when you’re a bookworm. Life’s too short! There are so many books to read!!
Leo seems to agree with me because he has read 101 books since the library’s summer reading program started on June 29th. I’ve been dragging my feet bringing his log in because I almost feel guilty. Like he’s cheating somehow. Except, he’s not. By the time we pull in our garage from a library trip, he’s already finished a couple.
It’s the truth. |
So, what are you reading this weekend? Anything good? I’d love to add it to my Goodreads list!

If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales.
If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.
