We’re Going On a Bear Hunt is one of those books that I will cherish forever. I loved it before I had children. It is such a fun read aloud for toddlers and preschoolers!
Then I had children and my kids fell in love with the book too.
I cannot believe that We’re Going On a Bear Hunt is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year!
(Psst! I’m giving away two great books so be sure to keep reading!)

I don’t think I’ve read that in 20 years! I’d enjoy winning a copy of the book!
What an awesome giveaway! 🙂
Love this book! I totally forgot about this book. My kids loved Sandra Boynton books when they were little (still do!) and we are going to be using the Berenstain Bears nature book for our outdoor studies this year. This would be a great addition to our unit!
How fun is this?! I hadn’t considered all of the bear books and materials that are available. I may just do this with boys next month, too!
The field guide looks so fun! I am loving all the book pics to go along with the bear study.
The Teddy Bears Picnic will forever be one of my favorite books because my mom used to read and sing it to me. ❤️
so glad I found this link. I love reading to my kids! I love playing educational games:)
I’ll be back often:)
I have always loved this book and am so happy to see there is a journal and field guide to go with it. What a find!
We, coincidentally just today, read Going on a Bear Hunt and Berenstain Bears Go To Camp. They were part of a Camping unit, and the kids had to compare and contrast the two. It was really fun. And it had been a while since we had done a bear hunt. It was such a comfort read.
I love the idea of the ann iversary journal and field guide.
The Karma Wilson Bear books are the best!
Oh, you must add Welcome Home, Bear! by Il Sung Na to this list. It’s amazing — illustrations are fabulous and the story talks about habitats. Such a great book!
Thanks for the giveaway! We just finished the Winnie-the-Pooh audiobook, and LOVED it. It was my bedtime book when I was a kid, but listening as an adult gave the story a new edge!
Thank you for the posts. I always find good information and do appreciate the time it takes to write these posts.
