This is Leo. Today I’m going to tell you a story. It’s from last Christmas and we call it “The Great Candy Heist of 2013” and it’s funny.
Last Christmas, we made gingerbread houses. They were so cool and they were all covered with candy! We wanted to eat the candy but my parents only let us eat candy if we were good and only after dinner.
Me and T came up with a great idea. We started to sneak pieces of candy up to my room. We hid it in my treasure box. Then we’d tell my mom that we were having a Super-Secret Snuggle Party and that she wasn’t invited. We’d go up there and eat the candy in secret.
Suddenly, my mom came in my room! She saw us eating the candy! Guilty! She took it away from us. She called it “The Great Candy Heist of 2013.” A heist is a robbery. Our heist was funny.
