A few years ago, my children were obsessed with The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game.
In fact, they were so enamored with it that my oldest son wrote a blog post about the game.
I loved the game too. Educational Insights makes a host of high-quality, engaging, educational games for young children. (I’ll be sure to link some later in this post.)
Alas, my kids are growing up too fast and they have outgrown The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game.
But when I heard that there is now a board book that goes along with the game, I had to check it out. (Yes, I am a sucker for a new children’s book!)
The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel: A Delightful Game, Now With A Companion Board Book!
*Disclosure: I received a copy of ‘Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel’ from Candlewick Press in exchange for a review. I was not required to write a positive review and, as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I only choose to share resources that I would use with my own family and those that I believe other families will enjoy.
The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel: Book and Game Duo
Our homeschool is built upon carefully selected, high-quality read alouds and educational games. I love to pair books and games and watch the learning unfold.
Now The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game has a perfect companion: The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel book.
And it’s just as adorable as the game!
In The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel, the Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel is preparing for winter. He has stored all of his acorns, but there’s a problem. He can’t remember where they are!
As you read the story, young children will be learning about counting, color identification, and nature. This board book features lots of lift-a-flaps for little ones to explore.
This book is absolutely adorable and it would be a perfect companion to the game itself. I wish it was around when my kids were obsessed with the game!
