Last night, as I was tucking Leo in, he was sharing stories about his day at nature camp. His favorite part was the bug hunt. Each student had a butterfly net and tried to capture creatures. Leo caught Japanese beetles.
Then he said the sweetest thing that melted my heart:
Your parents leave you too soon and your kids and spouse come along late, but your siblings know you when you are in your most inchoate form.
