Hi guys.
It’s Leo. This week we read Owl Moon by Jane Yolen in our book club.
Here’s how to draw an owl:
Here is my little brother reading the book. He can’t really read yet:
Here’s a book cover my little sister made:
One day, we made owls and an owl habitat:
I also interviewed my friend’s dad, Ricky, because a couple weeks ago he had a CONVERSATION WITH AN OWL in his backyard!! Check out the interview right here.
If you like owls, you should read the Guardians of G’houle series! Read my review here. Hope you enjoyed reading this book with us!
Next week, we are going to read Where the Wild Things are by Maurice SEndak. Are you ready for a WILD RUMPUS?!?!?!?
If you want to check out some cool owl videos and crafts that we found, look on my mom’s pinterest board, and if you’re looking for more Owl books and owl stuff, click here. Thanks for reading! LEO

Oh! We love Owl Moon. We read it for a full week and really delved into the story and illustrations. My daughter (age 2) was so inspired by a YouTube video of a great horned owl flying she ran to a chair and tried to fly and hurt herself. She thought the flying owl was the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen. We still read this book frequently!
I agree with your daughter, Robin. Owls are beautiful 🙂
