My children LOVE wooden blocks. They add a fun challenge for the older children and are a fantastic addition to the block collection. There are tons of different brands available. We have these Kapla blocks.
IQ Twist is a great one player game that keeps children engaged and QUIET.
Looking for a fun way to add some geography into your day? We love Scrambled States. It’s a quirky, funny book that kids will adore, paired with a colorful game. Your kiddos will have US geography down in no time.
Do you have a horrible kid at home? Leo is OBSESSED with Horrible History, Horrible Geography, Horrible Science, and Murderous Maths.
Do you have a child who is reading far above grade level? Do you have trouble finding something age appropriate content-wise? Some of My Best Friends Are Books is fantastic for parents of voracious readers.
My children love the game Pixy Cubes. My younger two copy the challenge cards, while Leo loves the challenge of the memory option. So fun!
Do you want to add in some world geography without complains from the kiddos? Our family will often play Brain Box World at dinner.
Creative Homeschooling by Lisa Rivero is one of my top favorite homeschooling books of all time!
Would you like to add in more geography at home? More map-reading? Looking for something that will hold your child’s attention? We adore Maps!
Our family loves to go on hikes with our little nature packs. We have various things in each pack, but those packs always include these Golden field guides. It is a wonderful way to squeeze in exercise, family time, learning, and nature.
