I’ve always been a fan of children’s literature, and I know the value of reading aloud to your kiddos. I started reading math picture books to my children long before we began homeschooling. I love stealth learning and math picture books are a wonderful way to sneak in math concepts without any pressure.
I’m sharing some of our favorites and get ready- there are a lot of them!

There are some fantastic math books on the market today, including several incredible series!
If you are looking for fun ways to play math in your homeschool, I cannot recommend this book enough:
- Let’s Play Math by Denise Gaskins
There are oodles of fantastic math series available!
We love a good math series and there are tons of them on the market today. Here are a few of our favorites. Later in this article, I share some of our favorite math picture books and I’ve included some from these series. The problem is, it’s impossible to share all of them, so I figured a bulleted list would be helpful.
