Are you curious about how to include foreign languages in your homeschool? Join us for a conversation on language learning with Sophia Storm. Sophia is a homeschool graduate, traveler, new mom, and owner of Spanish With Sophia.
The Homeschool Sisters Podcast Welcomes Sophia Storm of Spanish With Sophia!

Sophia is an independent Spanish teacher with over three years of professional teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish.
At a young age, Sophia fell in love with the Spanish language. Over several years, she learned Spanish independently through trial and error. Due to her homeschool upbringing, she was able to use a hands-on approach to learning Spanish through both traditional and immersive methods. Sophia effectively became fluent through my efforts.
Sophai’s journey as a teacher began shortly after beginning her learning adventure with Spanish. She first taught as an ESL teacher’s assistant in Central America. She quickly discovered she enjoyed serving others as a teacher and decided to make it her career path. After this initial position, Sophia taught English as a foreign language independently and implemented a Spanish program at a non-profit private school in Virginia. While awaiting the arrival of her daughter, she decided to start her own teaching business. Sophia now offers private group Spanish lessons and adores what she does!

Spanish With Sophia is an independently owned business offering group Spanish lessons for children in person and remotely. Lessons take on a community-based approach to learning Spanish, emphasizing practical use of the language. This enjoyable and effective approach encourages children to learn Spanish and develop a language learning passion.

NEVER BOARD LEARNING FOR OUTSIDE-OF-THE-BOX KIDS (AND THEIR MOMS!)
One thing I’ve learned in our 9+ (!!!) years of homeschooling is that homeschooling shouldn’t look anything like the public school of your past. I created NBL as a safe space for creative parents and educators to authentically connect, share ideas, and support each other as they raise their wildly and wonderfully unique children and teens.

I’d love for you to step outside of that ol’ proverbial box and join the fun! Right now, download a free copy of our monthly playbook! Our members love our NBL Playbooks! These ebooks keep your children and teens busy and learning all month long.
