Delayed post, yet again! We are still catching up from a couple weeks of illness, so I’ll share some photo highlights from the past week of homeschool:
|We hiked at a sculpture park that we adore.|
|We love to stop here to see if the leaves have
started to change color on the mountains.
|Miss T hugs one of her favorite sculptures.|
|Leo was in a zentangle mood this week. This one was my favorite.|
|Leo participated in an online seminar on Tyrannosaurus Rex this week,
so a lot of his art was dinosaur-related.
|“Owl at Home”|
|Art in the sunshine.|
|Imaginative play: T’s animals are having a family party, while
Leo’s animals are planning an invasion. Boys vs. girls.
|We played games.|
|Leo had his first piano lesson this week.|
|My tiny dancer.|
|These pumpkins were discovered growing in our front yard.
Thank you, compost!
|Painting our very own pumpkins!|
|Miss T thinks the dragonfly landed on her pumpkin because
it was “the most beautiful”
|Magnatiles are seriously in my top three favorite toys of all time.|
|We spent oodles of time outdoors and even
saw a rainbow!
|We read books, of course.|
|Some of us even ate breakfast with books.|
|Read aloud by the fire pit: Heaven!|
|We finished out the week with a field trip to
a Fairy House Tour!
|We admired houses on the tour…|
|… many were absolutely amazing…|
|…we studied them closely…|
|…and then we built our very own to add to the mix!|
