I have been using your Coffee and Books routine since you first blogged about it a few years ago and it works!!! My kids are in 8th and 10th grades now but no matter what they may be working on, we always start our morning this way and we all feel successful, well fed, and cozy. Highly recommend this to new homeschool families!

One of the things I really love is the abundance of resources that you added to each lesson from the awesome TED talks to the seemingly endless book lists.
Admittedly we already do a fair amount of read-alouds in our house and in our homeschool, but I knew with the pandemic I would need some reassurances on the hardest of weeks and days to stick to the basics, and I wanted a cheerleader to help remind me that would be enough. You have done that for sure! Thank you.

I am really enjoying the course! It’s helping me to feel re-inspired for the new year. I’ve always wanted to “be better” at read aloud time and it’s helping me with ideas and inspiration. I have been collecting books over the last few years, and oddly I just felt like I didn’t know where to start!? I always feel the need to go to the more obvious “learning” type books, but now I’m thinking I just need to start with fun books that I know the kids will love to get us into a rhythm.
