Are you ready to celebrate summer? I am raising my hand over here!

We are year-round homeschoolers. Our summer homeschool days follow a more relaxed, flexible routine. I love to find easy, engaging, and fun summer homeschool activities and projects.

I recently wrote an article for The Homeschool Sisters in which I discussed our plans for easy summer learning, and one of the resources I mentioned was the online mixed media workshops available at Flourish – Alisha Gratehouse Designs.

‘Celebrate Summer Mixed Media Workshop’ is the Perfect Way to Welcome Summer!

First, before we get started, I have to tell you about the Masterpiece Society Studio!

I’m not at all surprised, but my kiddos are *loving* this membership site.

My oldest was sick as a dog on Valentine’s Day. Everyone was grouchy (self-included) and feeling a little crummy that our day didn’t go as planned.

In case you haven’t read my other posts about these fantastic courses, here’s the scoop…

These courses were created by Alisha Gratehouse. Alicia is an artist, art instructor, minister’s wife, and mom of three. Her days are filled with creating, painting, writing, drinking lots of tea, laughing with (and at) her family, and spontaneously bursting forth into song.

When I heard Alisha was offering a new course to welcome summer, I knew my kiddos would love it. Because let’s be honest here- we have enjoyed all of Alisha’s courses.

‘Celebrate Summer’ is summer fun for the entire family

Celebrate Summer is a 4-week e-Course taught via videos in a private, password-protected site.

(I love this type of art course because you can access the videos at any time, from any place!)

This 4-week e-course includes detailed videos and supply lists for each project. Each unique art piece will reflect a different aspect of summertime — from the simple pleasures of backyard fun, beautiful wildflowers, creepy insects, fairies (and gnomes) at the bottom of your garden, vacations to the seashore, ocean creatures, summertime poetry and the simple delights of a long, hot summer!
